Lamentations 2027
The 2027 production of Thomas Tallis’ Lamentations pairs music with contemporary dance to explore themes of loss, the Fall and corporate grief. Intended for Lent, we are designing the event to engage our audience in corporate lament over sin and destruction while committing to a highly faithful interpretation of this foundational piece of sacred music. We are currently raising funds to launch this project and are also looking for like-minded venues in Chicago to host Lamentations rehearsals and performances.
